CAGLE, SHIRLEY MARIE – died of pancreatic cancer, at her home Christmas Day, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 1, 1952 in Knoxville, TN to Julia P. Troutman and William E. Neese. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Cagle; mother, Julia Lovin; sons, Dale Huskey and wife Jennifer, Greg Huskey and wife Frankie; step daughters, Stacey Fraker and Elizabeth Lowe; grandchildren, Hannah, Ben, Sarah, Eli, Bryce, Anthony and Chris. Preceded in death by first husband, Robert Huskey; father, William Neese and step-father, Mack Lovin. It takes only a few words to describe a great person. She was a lesser known Mother Theresa. Self-sacrifice to others, it seemed, was her primary goal in life. Winston Churchill once said, “If you are going through hell, keep going.” Shirley kept going until she broke out into Heaven’s golden sunlight on Christmas Day. My little miss sunshine, my wife. Thanks to everyone at U.T. Cancer Institute, everyone she met there became her friend. Many thanks to family and friends for your love and support during her illness. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, December 29th at Weaver, with service to follow at 8 pm. Rev. Johnny Price officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Tuesday at Piney Grove Cemetery for a 2 pm interment. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home. www.weaverfuneralservices.com
