Sarah Louise Hawkins

Sarah Louise Rogers Hawkins, age 69, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home, with her husband of 39 years by her side, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Sarah was born in Rockwood, Tennessee to the late Robert Lewis Rogers and Marion Sue Harvey Rogers. Sarah attended grammar and high school in Rockwood and received her Cosmetology license from Kingston School of Beauty. She worked for several years as a hair stylist before moving on to work at TVA as an executive secretary. Over the years she enjoyed working in different positions at various agencies in Knoxville.

Sarah is preceded in death by her stepson, Shawn Michael Hawkins; brother, James Rogers as well as her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, David Hawkins, stepson, Glen D. Hawkins (Melissa); grandsons, Ethan and Collin Hawkins as well as many cousins and extended family.

A visitation will be held for Sarah on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 5-7pm with a funeral service to follow at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11am.
