Sandra Gail Wallace

Sandra Gail Brooks-Wallace passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at her place of residence, The Groves at Oak Ridge where she was loved and cared for by staff and residents alike. Even though her residence was at the Groves, the place she called home was where her husband, Andrew Wallace, the love of her life still lives.

Sandra attended Harvest Point Church formerly known as Valley Grove Baptist Church on Ball Camp Pike. She was a devoted Christian and follower of Jesus. She raised her children to love Jesus as well.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Eloise and W.C. Brooks Sr. and her brother, Jerry Brooks. She has two children, Kim Brown (Drew Brown) and Chris Wallace (Michele Wallace); two grandchildren that she adored, Dalton Brown and Ella Wallace; sisters, Deloris Kitts, Charlotte Pack-Diamond (Charlie) and Brenda Kincer (Tommy); brothers, Bill (Jr.) Brooks (Linda), Doug Brooks and Ronnie Brooks.

Sandra's family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932 with her funeral service immediately following at 7:00pm, Tony Maples officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00am. Although flowers are appreciated, the family asks donations be made to an Alzheimer's Association of your choice in Sandra's memory.
