Samuel Houk Bell

BELL, SAMUEL HOUK "SAM" - age 87 of Dandridge, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was a member Mount Vale Church of God. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. Sam was the owner and a master plumber of Bell plumbing. He is preceded in death by son Gary Bell, parents Houk and Ruby Bell, brothers Richard and Clifford Bell, sister Doris Ward. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Wanda Bell; daughter Christa (Bryan) Layman, Virginia (Jack) Dixon, Elaine (Michael) Hunt, Joy (Joe) Northrut; sons Randy (Jacquelyn) Bell and Sandy Bell; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Wilma (Eugene) Laffew, Freda (Virgil) Lane, brother David (Sandra) Bell; and a host of nieces and nephew. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Shaw, Tim Lane, Trevor and Parker Smithson, Jack Dixon, James Schirnglone. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 with Bishop T.H. Ferrel officiating and eulogy by Bryan Layman.
