Ruth Lynn Beeler

Beeler, Ruth Lynn Spears, age 85 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on October 27,2013. She was a life-long faithful member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. She was a true Christian woman, a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Benjamin M. Beeler, Jr., parents Alfred and Daisy McClanahan Spears, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survived by daughter, Lana K. Beeler, grandchildren Amanda K. Hodges, Daniel Brent and Candace Mills Hodges, great grandchildren, Devin Hodges, Brycen Hodges and Benjamin Hodges, sister, Joan Spears Thomas, brother-in-law Audrey Thomas, special niece and nephew Cathy Jo Miller and Clifton Beeler, numerous other nieces and nephews, and extended family Trey and Sierra Brown. A special thanks to Joan Thomas and special friends Debbie Dawson and Terri Ferguson Toole for all of their help and support during mom’s illness, as well as the Tennova Hospice team who provided such excellent care. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm with the service to follow at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, 2300 Adair Drive. Reverend Guy Milam and Reverend David Webster will officiate. Interment at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:00 am, October 30, 2013.
