Jesus called her name Angels carried her to heaven. Ruby was born in Fairfield, Alabama on June 7, 1937 to Lucious Clinton Miller and Ruby Gooch. Ruby was saved at the young age of 12 at Graysville, Alabama by Pastor Williamson. She was a pastors wife along side of her husband, Rev. Walter G. Turner for over 30 years.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Rev. Walter Turner, who was the love of her life; brothers, L.C., David, Jim and Posey Miller; sisters, Mary Jones, Annie Brasfield. Ruby is survived by her children, Larry Turner (Lynn), Nancy Ayers (Jeff), Dwayne Turner (Kellie) and Regina Turner; grandchildren, Josh Ayers (Tiffany), Heather Larkins (Mickey), Eric Ayers (Jennifer), Chad Turner (Hope), Ashley Edwards (Linds), Madison, Macey and Austin Turner and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Thomas and Faye Wilson; best friend, Martha Reed.

A visitation will be held for Ruby on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5-7pm at Central Church of God with a funeral service to follow at 7pm. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. Jack Dean and Rev. David Snyder.
