Roy Ogle

Roy is survived by his daughter Peggy Elrod (David), granddaughter Kristi Elrod, grandson Rusty Elrod (Lori) and great-grandchildren Davis Hinton, Ainsley Hinton, Chandler Elrod and Andrew Elrod. He is preceded in death by his wife Martha Kate “Katy” Ogle, son Mike Ogle, infant son Danny Ogle and his parents Elbert and Lillian Ogle, twin sisters Wilma Sutton (Charles) and Velma Winkle (Fred).

Roy was born on June 1, 1924 in Knoxville, TN and was a graduate of Young High School. Roy joined the Marine Corps and proudly served his country in the South Pacific during WWII from 1942-1946. He was retired from William S. Trimble Co.

A Military graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike 37920. All are welcome to attend.
