Lee, Roy Edward, age 90, passed away Nov. 4, 2018. He was an honest hard working man who loved Charlotte, his wife of 60 years and his five children. He graduated from Madisonville High School where he played football and basketball. He retired as an electrician from Mitchell Electric Company. Dad spent many hours’ moon lighting and helping others. Past jobs include Kay's Ice Cream and Jim Robbins Seat Belt Company. He was active in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Love of ice cream continued through his life and sharing the bounty of his vegetable garden with others was his passion. He entertained us with stories of his life and enjoyed fishing and watching football. Survived by daughters; Gloria (Dan) Barenie and Donna (David) Zackrison; sons, Terry (Kathie), Larry (Arlene), and Mark (Illabelle), 32 great and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Weaver Funeral Home from 3-5 pm with service to follow at 5 pm. Family and friends will meet Sunday 10:45 am at Grubbs Cemetery on Blacksferry Road for an 11 am interment. Memorial donations can be made to ADRA.org or 3ABN .org and specify in memory of Roy Lee.
