Roy Jarnigan Jr. “Shorty” “Jake”, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away on July 16, 2016. He was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Burlington Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy O. Jarnigan and Lurlie Brooks; wife Mary Jarnigan; daughter Brenda and son Roger. He is survived by his daughters: Cynthia (Burt) Stoerker and Sylvia Spanos; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 2:00 pm in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Pastor Mike Segars, officiating.
