Roy Hendren Adams

In light of the current health situation, a graveside funeral service will be held in

lieu of a traditional service. The graveside service will be held at 11am, July 22,

2020 at Lynnhurst Cemetery.

Roy Adams was born in Knoxville, TN to Buford and Grace Adams on December

11, 1926. He married Helen Burnette on March 21, 1946 in Walker County,

Georgia. He worked as a lineman for South Central Bell and later as a technician

for Western Union until retirement. He was a veteran of World War II, in the Navy

on the USS Salerno Bay.

Roy is preceded in death by his wife Helen Jo Adams, Mark Adams (grandson),

Ray Adams (twin brother), Betty Vanosdale

(sister), and Buford and Grace Adams (parents).

Roy is survived by Steve Adams (son), Tracy (granddaughter) and Christopher

Badgett, Matthew (grandson) and Brittany Adams, Greyden Badgett, Evelyn

Badgett, Atlas Adams and Alexis Lambert (great grandchildren).
