Rose C. Milligan

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth, her parents, Jack

and Ethel Compton, her brother Fred, and her sister Barbara. Left behind to

cherish her memory are her children: Brenda Battershell and husband, Michael,

Kenneth Milligan and wife, Patricia, Rebecca Davis, Lisa Long and husband,

Larry; grandchildren Mark, Craig, Jennifer, Misty, Chris, Josh; seven great-grandchildren

and one great-great-grandson; sister Ruth Crouse, several nieces

and nephews, and dear friends Betty and Charles Miracle. Rose was a member

of Dante Church of God. Her professional life was within the legal field. Her

avocation and calling were to ministry. She was a gifted teacher and preacher and

dedicated most of her life to caring for others as a pastor and friend. The family

would like to thank the staff of Maple Court Senior Living for their loving care

during the final stages of Rose's battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Contributions to

the Alzheimer's Association may be made in her honor. The family will receive

friends 5-7 p.m. Monday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst

Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Family and friends will meet for the 11am

interment Tuesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Condolences may be offered
