Dyer, Ronnie Steven (Steve) - age 64, of South Knoxville, lost his courageous battle with cancer on August 24th, 2014. He recently retired after 40 years from a job he loved, providing life and health insurance to members of his community. Steve was a very loving husband, father and “Poppa”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Dyer and Mary Dyer. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pamela Dyer; daughter & son-in-law, Mary & Chris Thomas; daughter & son-in-law, Valerie & Jason Reagan; son & daughter-in-law, Jason & Tabatha Kozel; grandchildren, Hunter & Savannah Thomas and Josh & Zack Kozel; stepmother, Judy Dyer; and cousin Gary Johnson, who was more like a brother. Family will receive friends Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 4-7 PM at Berry Funeral Home with service to follow.
