Ronald McNutt, age 76, of Powell, TN passed away on October 22, 2023 at Ft. Sander’s Regional Hospital. He retired as Captain of Knox County Sheriff’s Department. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Betty Blair. Survived by loving and dedicated wife for 57 years, Charlotte McNutt; children, Michael Alan and Lisa McNutt, of Aiken SC, Angela (McNutt) and Jeff Haworth of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Patrick and Kaitlyn York, Sean York, Ryan and Cassie McNutt, and Kyle McNutt; four great grandchildren, Elijah, Asher and Carson York and Cooper McNutt. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12pm – 2pm with the funeral to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. Knox County Sheriff Chaplain Lee Lyon will officiate. The entombment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Young Williams or The Breast Cancer Research Center.
