Ronald E. Haynes Sr.

Ronald E. Haynes Sr. of Knoxville went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 6, 2017. Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Pops). He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church, a C.P.A at Ingram, Overholt & Bean PC. and served in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of East Tennessee State University, spending his younger years in the Bristol, Tennessee area. He began his career working for the Internal Revenue Service and National Security Agency. Ron has called Knoxville home for almost 60 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Carl Wilson and Gladys (Haynes) Easter. Ron is survived by wife of 60 years Myrtle June (Bryan) Haynes; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald E. Haynes Jr. and Janeen and Dr. Bryan David and Connie Haynes; 2 granddaughters, Makenzey Danielle and Madison Breana; 2 sisters, Chris Kuhnert and Doris Hamed; Several nieces and nephews and long time friends, Don and Leah Brackins. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5-7 p.m at Meridian Baptist Church, 6513 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
