Ronald Robert Brewer

Ronald "Ron" Robert Brewer, age 84, of Seymour Tennessee passed away on December 30, 2020. Ron was member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church for several years, and enjoyed being with his church family as well as his loving family at home. Ron was a people person, he loved to talk with literally anyone that would stop and talk to him about his Lord and Savior. He also enjoyed visiting the sick and the shut in when he was able to do so up until his health would not allow him to. Ron achieved his PhD. at the University of Tennessee in the field of Education.

Ron had waiting on him with open arms at the Gate of Eternity, his loving wife of 59 years Vivian Rae Brewer; parents, Virgil and Wilva Brewer; sister, Joan Stayton.

He leaves behind to carry on his legacy of love his Daughter, Linda (Wendell) Geiger; son, Larry (Suzanne) Brewer; grandchildren, Minnie (Chip) Bryan, Jason Brewer, Katie Brewer, Phillip Brewer; great-grandchildren, Alina Bryan, Emma Bryan, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ron's family will receive friends at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920 on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Family and friends will gather at Berry Highland South Cemetery at 3:00pm for a Graveside service with Rev. Charlie McNutt to officiate the service.
