ROBERT LEE RUNYON age 64, passed away March 8, 2014 at his home. He was born in Amerstdale, W.VA. He was of the Independent Baptist Faith and a Vietnam Veteran and was a retired Coal Miner. Preceded in death by wife, Patricia Collins Runyon; parents, Charles and Estella Runyon; son, Matthew Runyon; brother, Cecil Runyon. Survived by children,Charles William, Robert, Jr., Ricky, Charles William, Shawn and Marlena Runyon; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Toler of MI, Sylbia Starbird of W.V., Joyce Runyon of OH, Crystal Akers of W.V. and Naomi Ferguson of N.C.. The family will receive friends 3-4 pm Thursday at Weaver’s with a Memorial Service to follow at 4 pm. Rev. Bobby Toler officiating. The family will bury his cremains at a later date.
