Bob lived full of love for life and for his family. His first thoughts were always, "What can I do for you? What do you need? Bob is now with his wife of 62 years, Freeda (Shelley). They traveled often and are now together on their greatest adventure. Bob was born July 18, 1931 in Griffin, Georgia to Herman Sr. and Lucia Lisle. His siblings Ray, Herman and Shirley (Camp) are celebrating with him in Heaven. Bob's life was full of accomplishment. He was an excellent scholar and never missed even one day of school from the 1st through the 12th grade. He also loved sports, playing football and lettering in baseball during his high school years. After graduating with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia with a Pharmacy Degree, Bob moved to Bristol, TN. It was there as a pharmacist for Cole Drug Co that he met and fell in love with his wife Freeda, who worked in cosmetics. After a stint in the United States military, Bob and Freeda moved to Knoxville and started their family. Bob worked as a Regional VP of Revco Drug Company for 32 years. He was beloved by his colleagues and made many lifelong friends during his
career. He loved boating, working in the yard, walking the dog, watching his beloved Tennessee Vols
and caring for Freeda during her last years. He was also such a funny and witty individual, endearing him
to just about everyone he met. However, his greatest love and devotion was saved for his wife, children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren!
He leaves behind his son, Rob Lisle (Jenni); daughters Lisa Lisle and Andrea Reynolds (Jim); grandchildren, Rachel Blalock, Justin Blalock, Sara White (Dave), William Reynolds (Michelle), Hannah Reynolds, Lauren Jefferson (Noah), Ben Lisle (Shelby), Grant Lisle (Polly), and Haley New (Tyler); as well as great grandchildren, Hayden, Emma, Brady, Audley, Graham, and Mary Jane. He also leaves behind beloved extended family, including sisters and brothers-in-law and their families in Griffin, Ga. and Bristol, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families. Bob (dad, Papaw) will be greatly missed by all.
