Robert F Anderson

Anderson, Robert Franklin (Bob), age 82, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was a member of Seven Islands Baptist Church and retired from City of Knoxville Fleet Services. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Blanche Anderson; wife, June (Simmons) Anderson; Grandson, Andy Moyers; Son-in-law, David Matney; sisters, June Boling and Evelyn Arnold. Survived by Daughters and Son-in-law, Vickie Matney, Sandy and Andy Thomas; granddaughter, Felicia and Lance Sexton; great-granddaughters, Opal, Moira, and Andrea. Several nieces and nephews; sister, Betty and Howell Houser; several sister and brothers-in-law. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Berry Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Nelson officiating. Family and Friends will meet Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 11:30 am Graveside Service.
