Rev. Richard Earl Young

Rev. Richard Earl Young, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018. He loved his family dearly. He was a minister for many years and his favorite song was “The Unseen Hand”. He was preceded in death by his father Walter and his mother and step father Blanche and Orien. His loving wife of 52 years, Sally. His two brothers Paul and Clyde. He was survived by his children, Danny (Audrey), Kathy, Brenda (Johnny), Debbie (Stanley), David, and Robin (Johnny), 14 grandchildren, 21, great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. His brother Billy. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and the employees of Rain Tree for their love and care they gave to Richard. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5:00-7:00PM at Berry Highland West (9913 Sherrill Boulevard Knoxville, TN 37932) with a funeral service to follow at 7:00PM.
