Janice and family it was truly a blessing to share some of my time with you all while you were in Dandridge. Ras has always been a mentor to me and many others in our profession.  From the casual conversations to the time he and Doug Norman caught me rolling a yard in south Knoxville and made me clean it up!  Rest easy my friend I know you are in heaven!

I'm so sorry for your loss, RAS was a true friend. He was at the Masonic Temple for my 3rd degree and was at the funeral home in Maryville when my father passed. We will miss him.

We were so sad to learn of Ras' passing.  He was always a huge support to me as a principal in times of challenge. What a gentleman he was with such a wonderful smile.  He was a friend to many and we appreciated it.  Our prayers go out to his family.

I worked at KPD 1974-2007.  I always knew Ras as cordial and a gentleman on every occasion. He was a fine man and officer and will be missed. My sincerest condolences and prayers for you all.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family for your loss. I knew Ras as a KPD detective and School Security Chief when I worked for the Sheriff's Department. He was always smiling and joyful. He never failed to assist in any way could. He will be missed God bless your family may he give you comfort as you grieve for Ras.

I worked with "Ras" at the Knoxville Police Department from 1970 until 1977.  I have never worked with a finer Christian gentleman and am so thankful for his respect and helpfulness during my job there. He was one of the finest officers Knoxville was ever honored to have.  May GOD bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
