Rhys Anne Gibson

Rhys Anne Gibson, age 68 peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Rhys Anne was a loving mother of 2, grandmother of 3, sister and friend. She loved the beach, hummingbirds and her little dog Violet. Rhys Anne is survived by her daughter Shannon and husband Paul Ownby, her son Justin and wife Wendy Gibson, her grandchildren Riley, Skye and Greyson; Her sisters Dawn Gibson and Paula Hollingsworth; Her cousin Buddy Browning who was like a big brother; Special friends Susan Lawson and Connie Lusk; Multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 29, 2025, from 12-2pm with service to follow at Berry Highland South. Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. In honor of her love for the beach, the family request you wear your favorite summer colors.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc. or Young Williams.
