Retha E. Smith, age 81, of Seymour, TN passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church and was very active in the Widow's Sisterhood and Servant's Heart Ministries there.
Retha was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Steven A. Smith; father, Luther Engle mother, Ethel Partin and brother, Larry Engle. She is survived by her 7 children; Phillip (Royal), Gina (Greg), David (Amy), Laureen (Danny), Michael (Penny), Rebecca (Tim) and Daniel (Kim); 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth, Alaine, and Anita; step-mother, Marguerite; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31st from 12-2pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2pm officiated by Pastor Luke Wilkerson.
