BREEDEN, REBECCA JANE - age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. She was retired from Hillcrest Nursing Home. Preceded in death by husband of 40 years, William (Dee) Breeden; parents, Grace and Dillard Smith; brothers, Whitney, Tillman and Everette Smith; sisters, Elaine Martin and Alice Grossnickle. Survived by daughter, Mandi Breeden; son, Jeff Breeden; grandchildren, Christy Collins and husband Steven, Corey Breeden, Amy Breeden and Jesse Helton; brothers, Donald Smith, Calvin Smith and wife Betty; sisters, Joyse Manuel, Madelyn Walden, Lila Young, Patricia Neuner, Sharon Gardner Smith; sister-in-law; Helen Abbott; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Wayne Lay officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1: 45 Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery for the 2:00 pm interment.
