Penny Perry

Heaven has truly gained an angel, Penny Denise Kirby Perry born July 27, 1966 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family who loved her dearly and her sweet companion (dog) Blu that Penny loved dearly. She was a member of Lonsdale Church of God from a young age. There is so many broken hearts, Penny touched so many people that crossed her path. Penny was a fighter battling M.S. for 18 years and lung cancer since April of 2022. During all these battles Penny used this to testify that she was God's miracle and she was healed. She was married to her one and only true love Eugene Perry Jr for 41 years who has been nothing but a Saint. He has stuck to his vows the way God intended, Penny and Eugene have had a wonderful life together and they thank God for every moment they have spent together. We could write all the accomplishments that Penny has had in her life. But knowing the t-shirt, jean wearing down to earth woman that Penny was she would say her biggest accomplishment is (I WON THE FIGHT) I'm home with my sweet Jesus and my loving momma and daddy. She loved and fed every animal that seemed to show up on her porch including some people. Penny was always smiling even through the pain. She loved her job as an employee at Pilot/Casey's for 32 years and met some of the most wonderful friends and family. Her house was full since her battle with cancer had begun. We can not thank every one enough who loved her through this journey. Penny and Eugene waited 18 years of marriage to bring their one and only child, Brooke into this world who Penny loved dearly. She loved being a wife and mother, God blessed Penny with another child, Jordan who she met through his mom Jessie at Pilot/Casey's. She loved, cared for and kept Jordan since he was 5 weeks old and he loved his Penny like no other. Penny was preceded in death by her loving parents, Wayne Elliott and Willie Dean Kirby; grandparents, Eugene and Beatrice Ingle, Charles and Lulabell Kirby and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Eugene Perry Jr; daughter, Brooke Perry and fiance Keelan Dillon; sweet Jordan Alexander Lara; sisters, Carla (Mark) Cruz, Sherry (David) Williamson; brothers, Wayne Kirby Jr, Chuckie (Sherrie) Kirby and Stevie (Michelle) Kirby; uncle, Ross (Judy) Kirby; mother and father-in-law, Eugene (Ola) Perry Sr.; in-laws, Sandy (Jerry) Kirkpatrick, Brenda (Bill)Bean, Karen (Joe) Steven's, Tracey (Carl) Ake, Beverly (Tim) Keener and Timmy Perry; Penny is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Special friends and family. The family will receive friends Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy, Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, December 19, 2023 around 9:45 a.m. and leave in procession to New Grey Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
