Paul F Satterfield

Paul F. Satterfield, 68 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. He was stationed in Germany from 1966-1969 with the U.S. Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator/superintendent for Brownlee Construction and Kesterson Construction for 34 years. He loved farming and taking care of his cattle and jennies. Preceded in death by parents Carroll and Retta Satterfield; brothers, Richard Satterfield, Fred Satterfield and Oscar Satterfield; sisters, Iva Thompson and Lilian Sexton. Survived by wife of 42 years, Linda Satterfield; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Whitney Satterfield, daughter and son-in-law Sherri and BJ Fawver; grandchildren, Renee, Kalynn and Jacob; sisters, Johnnie Shelton and Sarah Moore and Several Nieces and Nephews. The family would like to express gratitude to the 4th floor Riverstone nurses at Parkwest Medical Center, Dr. Yi Feng and Dr. Jeffrey Roesch. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with the Funeral Service at 8:00pm with the Reverend Randy Troutman officiating. The Graveside Service will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
