Paul Anthony Newman, age 60 of South Knoxville, TN, passed away at home on Tuesday March 7, 2023. He was known to many as Wally. Paul was a South Knoxville native who had the heart and soul of a true God fearing country gentleman. His love for Jesus, his daughter and family was a well known fact. He found his true happiness in life by helping those closest to him and those truly in need.
Paul is survived by his daughter Casey Newman and husband Jeff Valentine; brothers Steve Newman and Bill Potter as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was greeted in Heaven by his father Carl Newman; mother Barbara Newman as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held later in the month, details to come.
