Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; father, George McCarter; mother, Mary McCarter; and ten siblings.
Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Ronnie McCammon; grandson, Derek McCammon; granddaughter, Ronda McCammon; brother, Frank “Alb” McCarter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Weaver Funeral Home, Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Van Sanks, will follow. Family and friends will meet at Edgewood Cemetery, 10:45 a.m. Saturday, for 11:00 a.m. interment.
