Patricia England Yates passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the age of 63. She passed away in her home in Lenoir City, TN, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Patricia “Patty” was a loving wife and friend. She is survived by her husband, Dennis of Lenoir City, Her brother, Greg England of Sparta, TN and her two dogs Magnum and Buster. She was preceded in death by her father, Edsel England of Sparta and her mother Gladys England also of Sparta.
She grew up in Sparta, TN and obtained her BS degree from Tennessee Tech University and her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Patty always strived to help others and did so throughout her career working in Human Resources and Customer Service. She also devoted much of her life researching possible cures for Multiple Sclerosis.
The family will be receiving friends at Weaver Funeral home in Knoxville, TN on Monday, April 18th from 5-7 pm. Interment will be at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville on Tuesday April 19th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
