Patricia Douglas Wade passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 21, 1934, to parents Charles and Alma Douglas of Memphis. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, Thomas Wade, Jr., and is survived by her sons Thomas Wade (Cathy), and Andrew Wade (Lindsay); six wonderful grandchildren, Cooper, Jake, Ellen, Katie, Sara, and Keeley; a treasured sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Allen Scott, brothers-in-law Burke (Mimi), and Jules (Ann) Wade, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Patricia graduated from Sacred Heart High School and enrolled at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing where she received her nursing degree. She retired from St. Joseph's in 1997 and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to be closer to her two sons and their families; she was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she was a loyal volunteer to the Woman's Group as well as Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 pm Sunday with a Rosary Service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Funeral Mass will be Monday 10 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
