I worked with Pam at Crothall, albeit briefly, but did we have fun.   I trained her and work on the other side from her during that short time.  Everyone called her “Miss Pam”, but I called her “Pamelama”.

Dear Pam's Family.
Pam was my colleague in 2016 and 2017.  She always brought her positivity and energy to work everyday, which made our office a brighter place.  I was happy to see her bring her enthusiasm and expertise back to our college this year. My deepest condolences to all of you on her sudden loss.

Pam worked on my team in the College of Communication and Information's Center for Communication & Information in 2016 and 2017.   She was a wonderful colleague who brought positivity and energy to our office everyday.  Pam was also always ready to take on a challenge and her work on dealing with complex budgets was exceptional earning her the designation of being the accounting detective.  Pam earned her masters degree while she was with us -- which was an inspirational accomplishment to achieve while also working full-time.  

I was so happy to see Pam return to our college to work in the School of Communication Studies this year.  It was great to have her amazing work ethic and excellence back with us.  It was so much fun to see her  beacon of energy at the anniversary event for the School of Journalism and Electronic Media. 

I am so saddened by her sudden loss. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. I share these wonderful memories with my deepest condolences.

Pam was my colleague briefly, but in that time she filled our exchanges with kindness and humor. I am glad to have met her. I always made it a priority to stop by and say hi to her. She made the spaces she spent time in better and brighter. Condolences to her family.

Sending so many prayers to the family, I worked with Mrs Pam at crothall and she made work a true joy. She always had a smile and words of encouragement when needed. Her positive attitude was contagious. Im so hurt to see this, you will be extremely missed

My sincere condolences to the family. Pam was my dear classmate, and she will be missed. Praying God’s comfort and peace to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Pam. We worked in the same building for a while. When I'd visit her office, she was positive and had a smile. I particularly remember walking in one day after she'd had an interaction with someone who tried to bum her out- - she just let it roll off her back and moved forward with kindness! She was a high-road lady.  I only have good memories with her.  <3

Pam will be missed so very much!  Working with her at TeamHealth, she always had us laughing and smiling!  Condolences and prayers for her family (especially her grandbabies, which she spoke of often).

Pamela was awesome. In 2017, she administered my research grant at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I was impressed by her efficiency and proficiency at work. We will miss her. May her soul rest in peace!

I did not know Ms. Howell personally but I recognize the incredible hard work that administrative staff do to make all the schools in the College of Communication & Information successful. As such I so appreciate all her effort to support students, faculty, and other stakeholders of the school and college and am very saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family. I wish them strength during this difficult time and peace when the time is right. 

Pam was our new Administrative Specialist for Communication Studies at UTK. As others have said, she was a ray of sunshine and will be greatly missed. We were blessed to have her as part of our family.

Even though Pam had only been working with us for a few months, I really enjoyed sitting down in her office to work through all the issues we needed to address.  She was amazing on budget and on how some of our user-unfriendly online systems worked. She had the highest level of professionalism and commitment to do the job well.  But what stood out most was her positive attitude and the joy she brought to everyone in the school.  It was a privilege to have had the time with her.

I work at UT and met Pam at a conference in 2015 and would see her at other conferences as well. She always had a bright smile and a hug when she saw me. Please hold on to the precious memories. My sincere prayers and condolences to the family. May God Comfort you as only He can.
