Ora Kathryn Brewer

Brewer, Ora Kathryn (nee Elkins), 93 of Knoxville, TN, passed peacefully in her home while surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Kathryn was the loving mother of five children, Shelia (Jeff) Pass, Ray (Lori) Brewer, Kathy Myers, Libby Brewer, and Toni (Cecil) Earles. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Brewer; parents, Thelma and Reece Elkins; granddaughter, Kim Ramsey; two sisters and three baby brothers. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Dimsdale; six grandsons, Jake Ramsey, Josh Ramsey, Paul (Misty) Collier, Beau (April) Cuthbert, Cecil Earles, and Christopher Earles; one granddaughter, Burke (Les) Brewer; eighteen great grandchildren; and six great- great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 20th from 5-7pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road. A graveside service and burial will occur Friday, September 21st at 10am at Berry Highland South. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
