Norma Charlene Knott

Norma Charlene Knott, age 71, of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by daughter, Andrea and parents, CL and Norma Hampson; survived by husband of 51 years, Dana; son, Eric and wife Cassie; grandchildren, Cole, Zach, Noah, Ricky, Hunter, and Willow; brother, Chuck Hampson and wife Cyndi; nephew, Dusty Hampson and niece, Missy Salters.

Norma was known to her grandkids as Mimi and her close friends and family as Charlene. She loved being near family, the joy visible in her beautiful blue eyes and heard with her unique laugh. Her favorite hobbies were her flowers and bird watching. She tended to her massive flowerbeds up until her last weeks, and they provided calmness and solace during trying times.

Norma requested no funeral services; she didn’t want people to cry over her death and wished to have her ashes spread in her flowerbeds. Her family will have a private Celebration of Life at that time.
