WILKES, NANCY LYNN - age 59 of Knoxville, passed away May 7, 2012 at Parkwest Hospital. She was a member of Marble City Baptist Church. Retired from Kennedy Space Center as a Mission Scheduler for the Shuttle Program. She loved the ocean and taking long walks on the beach. Preceded in death by father, Howard "Ike" Wilkes. Survived by mother, Marjorie Wilkes; son, Sean Larkin; daughter, Angela Larkin; brother, Daryl Wilkes; very close cousin, Robert Settlemeyer; uncles and aunts, John R. Settlemeyer, Tommy and Janie Willkes, and Donald and Katherine Settlemeyer; niece, Tonya Renee Wilkes; special friend, David McCarter. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Weaver's Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 8:00 pm. Pastor Matt Peebles officiating.
