Nancy was born January 1, 1948 in Knoxville, Tennessee; missing the ‘1948 New Years’ baby by 4 hours.
Her death was preceded by that of her father and mother, C.D. and Helen McElyea, and brother James Leslie McElyea.
Survivors are son, Ryan Sutton (Sheri); brother, Larry G. McElyea (Arlene); niece, Crystal McCurry (Darrell); grand-nephew, Micah; and close friend, Bitsi Watson.
Nancy was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church, and retired from the University of Tennessee Knoxville after many years of service in the IT and Housing Depts.
Nancy was known for having a big heart, assisting others, and loving her pets.
She will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
Nancy will be interred by Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home in a private service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
