Nancy Carolyn Hatton

Nancy Carolyn Hatton, 80, passed away on February 24, 2018. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked as a nurse at Lakeshore Mental Health Institute until her retirement. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker and antique collector.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bertha Wallace; sisters, Mary Ellen Colley and Rose Ann Goins; nephew, Neal Wallace.

She is survived by her brother, Jack Wallace; sister, Rebecca Jones; children, Barbara Ann Hill, Edward Hatton, Joseph Hatton, Michael Hatton and Kristy Bryant; grandchildren, Joshua Hatton, Jenny Maughon, Jessica Townsend, Allysun Hatton-Bannister, Cory Thompson and Matthew Hatton; nephews, John Wallace and Rodney Jones; and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. A Chapel service will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm. There will be an Entombment Service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
