Nancy Mohr was one of the nicest ladies I ever had the honor to know.  She kept me and Jackie straight, not to mention George, Mitch and Jerome.

Mrs. Biddle and I have been therapy buddies for a long time here a couple stories. We were scheduled to be there at the same time Tue. 3:00 if she got there before me she would say "beat ya!" But my favorite story was she got a new pair of Nikes about a year ago while we were doing our therapy I looked over at her shoes and noticed the N on her shoes I said it must be nice to have your name initials on your shoes N-Nike. She thought that was so funny started to tell everyone about that. Then several months ago she got a pair of New Balance you guessed it had an NB on the shoe I told her one initial was not enough she had to have both initials on her shoes. 
She was a very sweet lady and therapy is not same without her as she was a beautiful social butterfly greeting everyone. She has been missed..........

Knoxville Opera has lost a dear and loyal friend and we extend our sincerest condolences to Nancy's family.  I always knew when it was time to start a Guild event - after Nancy arrived - as she did so often throughout the decades.  We will miss her friendship, beautiful spirit, and great sense of humor.

Nancy and I were alumnae of Alpha Omicron Pi here at UT - although many decades separated our pledge years, we were like sisters. We went to many AOII alum events together and I will miss her so much. She was always thinking of others, even at the end. She loved her family and always had them in her thoughts. Every time I visited her, she showed me new pictures of grandchildren and great grandchildren. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Our families knew each other since the 40's when Dr. Mohr was in Memphis in medical school and my dad had just completed dental school  .The move to Knoxville in the mid 40's included medical treatment by Dr. Mohr on me and my brother and sister and dental  service to the Mohrs by my dad. I was honored to continue serving the family in the 70's and have been priveledged to have served Nancy Biddle through the years until her passing. After over 60 years of Greenblatt dental service my staff knew she could have anything she wanted anytime.       She was a true "Southern Lady " Always a pleasure to see, talk to, and work with ,we will miss her smile.She was a person we should all try to be like when we grow up. Most sincere condolences to Jackie,Nancy, and Mary Ann.

She was a character in the story of our community for sure! Ms. Biddle made cookies for the children of SHPC all the time. Once, she saw my son (then 4 years old) and me at the post office and asked him, "Houston, what kind of cookies do you want me to bring to Sunday school this week?" He said, "Nilla Wafers." She got so tickled and appreciated his young, honest nature. 

I'd never heard of Forgotten Cookies until I met Nancy. Ironic, since she'll be remembered so well, by so many! We love you! Jody Dyer
