Minnie Elizabeth Reynolds

Minnie Elizabeth Reynolds, age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Minnie attended the Tennessee School for the Deaf where she graduated in 1962 and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Knoxville Business College. Minnie was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Powell and a former member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville where she met her soul mate, Gene at Vacation Bible School as kids. She loved traveling, especially church trips. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hugh Jeffries and Ida Mae "Dovie" Jeffries; brothers, Jimmy Jeffries (Clara), Ricky Jeffries, Franklin "Frank" Jeffries (Charlotte) and John Jeffries.

Minnie is survived by her husband, Howard Eugene "Gene" Reynolds; daughter, Jessica Reynolds (Clyde Berry); grandchild, Nora Elizabeth Berry and bonus grandchild, Jonathan Edward Berry; brother, Charlie Jeffries (Wanda); sisters, Betty Taylor and Carolyn Lyons (Billy); brothers-in-law, Stan Reynolds (Janet) and Phil Reynolds (Donna); sister-in-law, Kathy Winstead (Lawrence); Kimberly Steinberg (Brad), Samantha Badard (Olivier), Cindy Anderson and Kendra Anderson and many loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to UT Hospice for the care and comfort they have given to Minnie and her family.

A visitation for Minnie will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church, 1700 W Beaver Creek Dr, Powell, TN 37849 with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Minnie's committal service and interment will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932.
