Minnie Irene Hensley

Hensley, Minnie Dockery, age 86, of Knoxville, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 29, 2015. Minnie was the owner of M. Hensley Beauty Salon for 46 years. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, David Lewis Hensley, and Miranda Hensley. Survived by her son, Samuel (Sam) Hensley and wife Libby; grandson, Shane Hensley, granddaughters, Crystal Gail, Nichole, April; four great grandchildren, Madison, Piper, Farria and Phoenix; sisters, Alma Pack and Maggie Davis and a host of other family and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the chapel of Weaver Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie Barnes and Rev. Rodney Duncan officiating. The family will again receive friends in Murphy NC at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Wednesday 10:00AM – 11:30AM and proceed in procession to Hanging Dog Cemetery at 11:30AM for a 12 noon graveside service.
