Mildred I. Ball

Ball, Mildred Isabelle-age 96 born January 13, 1916 passed away May 2, 2012. She was a graduate of Carson Newman College and received her Master’s degree in Christian Education from Emory University. Mildred was a lifelong member of Vestal United Methodist Church and very proud of giving the first dollar she ever earned to the Building Fund for the present day church. She is preceded in death by parents, William and Lillie Ball; brother, William Ball; sister, Hazel Gervin; nephew W. A. Gervin Jr.; great, great nephew, Dylan Wyatt Terry. She is survived by niece Jeanette Gervin; great nieces, Vicki Terry and Kelly Veals; great nephew, Andy Veals; great, great nieces and nephews, Ashley Dykes, Jesse Premo, Cody Veals and Brooke Veals; great, great, great nieces, Aryanna Dykes and Lillian Premo. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 am at Woodlawn Cemetery, Monday May 7, 2012 for gravesides services with Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
