Maxine Viola Ryan McNutt

McNutt, Maxine Ryan 96 of Townsend, TN passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was a resident of South Knoxville and member of Big Valley Baptist Church in Townsend. Maxine was a graduate of the Tennessee School of Beauty on Gay Street. She was also a member of the National Beauty School of Cosmetology. Maxine held two State Board Licenses of Tennessee and Michigan. She worked in both states for several years until retirement. Maxine was preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Ina Mae Ryan of White Pine, TN; sisters, Mrs. Willie Sartain of White Pine, Mrs. Carrie Gouge of Newport, Mrs. Ethel Hale of Morristown, Mrs. Margaret Rickard of Mascot. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Clyde McNutt of Knoxville. Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 14th from 4-6 pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road with funeral services immediately following at 6pm with Rev. Bob Hurst officiating.
