Mary Ruth Ott

Mary Ruth is preceded in death be her loving husband, James Robert Ott; parents, Robert Luther and Lillie Mae Laugherty Sise; sister, Helen E. Witenbarger; brothers Carl Edward Sise; special nephew Darrell Widener.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jerry Childress; special grandson and wife, James and Melodi Childress who she considered her granddaughter; great granddaughter and love of her life, Lily Jean Childress; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Mary Ruth Sise; sister, Grace Holt; brother-in-law, Lee Stokes; and sister, Henrietta Widener.

Family and friends will gather at 12:45 pm on Tuesday October 17,2023 for a 1:00 pm graveside service at Berry Highland South Cemetery in the Garden of The Gospels, officiated by pastor Doug Inman. In lieu of flowers donations can made to the Smoky Mountain Children's Home.
