Mary Nell Powell, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away April 17, 2025. She was a Godly woman and read in her Bible every day. She was a member of Heart’s Way Baptist Church. Loved yard sales, always looking for a good deal and was a very loving person to everyone.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years and missed him dearly, Jack Powell; parents, Robert, and Dorothy Wilson; brother Nathan Wilson and nephew, Chris Wilson.
Survived by son, Robbie McCroskey; brother, Gene Wilson; nephews, Troy Wilson (Amanda), Jeff Wilson (Lori), Rob Wilson and several great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5 pm until 7 pm. Funeral service will follow with Mike Torrence officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 1:45pm at Lakeview Memorial in Lenoir City for a 2pm interment. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com.
