Mary Boggs

Boggs, Mary (Keener), Member of New Fellowship Baptist Church; born on May 15, 1933 passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Preceded in death by loving husband of 50 years Ervin Boggs; loving grandson Michael ”Mickey” Loveday; loving parents Charles Roy and Nola Keener; brothers Paul, Junior and Dee Keener; sisters Juanita Keener and Ida Kirby. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Mike Loveday and Pam and Terry Loveday; sons Rick Boggs(Candy Long), Gary Boggs(Karen Medley) and Jerry Boggs; son and daughter- in – law Larry and Michelle Boggs; grandchildren Christy Loveday, Suzanne and Mitchell Norton, Jennifer and Travis Hayes, Adam and Constance Boggs, Lori Loveday Chris and Misty Rice and Josh Rice; great-grandchildren Alexia Norton and Jadyn and Kyler Rice and Paisley Norton; sisters Ella Walker and Betty Keener; brother George Keener and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Norton, Travis Hayes, Chris Rice, Kerry Freeman, Nick Black, Mike Walker and Adam Boggs. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice. The family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2012 from 6-8pm at Weaver Funeral Home. A Funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Wayne Lay officiating. Family and friends will meet in the Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery Saturday at 12:45 for a 1pm interment service.
