

Mark Lee Gray, 50, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on April 2, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. Viewing for friends and family will be held Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Grigsby Chapel Road in Farragut, Tennessee with the funeral immediately following. Mark was born to Fred and Betty Gray in Kingsport, Tennessee on November 1, 1966. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. He worked for The Kimberly Clark Corporation and then for Y-12 in Oak Ridge. Mark was married to Stormi Gray (Pehrson) on December 23, 2000; they were married for 16 years. Mark enjoyed mountain biking, watching movies, learning new skills, and spending time with his family. Mark is survived by his three Children Micah Gray, Noah Gray, and Elliot Gray; his brother Scott Gray and his wife Judy; Father Fred Gray; nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his mother Betty Sue Gray. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Marks name to the Steve Gleason ALS Foundation, the ALS Association, and the ASPCA (at the request of his daughter Elliot).
