Marjorie Newberry Kerley, age 92, of South Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 surrounded by family. She was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Joe Kerley; parents James and Eva Newberry; siblings Harold, Tom, and Ronald Newberry; Ola Galandis, and Alma Drinnon. Marjorie is survived by daughters, Jan East and Teri Rowles; grandchildren: Ben, Shaun, and Kara (Jill); eight great-grandchildren: Landon, Joseph, Sophia, Max, Hudson, Audrey, Penny, and Archer; siblings JD, Sybil, Chuck, and Phillip; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:15 pm to go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2:00 pm interment service.
