GHEEN, MARJORIE ROSE HENRY (MARGIE) - age 87 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Continuum Courtyard Assisted Living where she resided since July of 2010. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was involved with various groups and projects such as Fellowship Sunday School Class, Bell Choir, Young at Heart, and F.I.S.H. She also filled in playing piano occasionally. She will be greatly missed by many. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bill Gheen. Survived by daughters, Carolyn Glardon and husband Rick, Cathy Racich, son Clayton Gheen and wife Tanya, four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, and sister Helen Wright of Big Stone Gap, VA.; she also leaves a large, extended Gheen and Henry family. The family greatly acknowledges the professional and devoted care by the staff of Continuum Courtyards, private sitters, and Amedysis Home Health and Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to trinity United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice. Friends may come by Weaver Funeral Home Sunday from 8 am-5 pm at your convenience. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00-7 pm Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church on Western Ave with words of celebration by family and Rev. Don Thomas from 5:30-5:45 pm. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Monday at New Gray Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
