Marilyn L. Slaughter, age 70 of Knoxville, passed away April 19. 2024 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. She was a retired nurse. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Euna Davis; sisters, Mary Burrell, Melisa Aston, and Margaret Davis. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill Slaughter; sons, Michael (Brittney), Brian (Nikki) and Brent (Michelle); several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and one great grandchild on the way. Family will receive friends at Weaver Chapel Tuesday from 5-7pm. There will be a gathering Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport, TN. at 11:45 am for a graveside service at 12pm.
