Wells, Margaret Elizabeth, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was a member of the Church of the Good Samaritan. She was a Registered Nurse, and served as a Nursing Administrator at several hospitals around the region. Most notably she served as Head Nurse for Knoxville City Schools for many years, and ended her career as a Psychiatric Nurse. She was a very special person, her strength and determination were an inspiration to her entire family and she was loved by all who knew her. Preceded in death by beloved husband, James M. Wells, Jr.; brother, Joe Wiggins. Surviving loved ones; son, James (Jim) M. Wells, III and wife Pamela Whitworth; daughter, Jennifer DePue Norman and fiancée Ted Myers; grandchildren, Vince DePue and wife Renee, Michelle DePue Surber and husband David, Ryan DePue and wife Karah, Brandy and Kenzie Wells; great grandchildren, Devin, Dylan, and Parker Surber; Ethen, Violet, and Nolan DePue; sisters, Mickey Born, and Mary Ruddle; and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Clare Bridge for their loving care of our mother. Family and friends will be meeting at 1:30 pm for the 2 pm graveside service Monday, February 22, 2016 at Lynnhurst Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be at Church of the Good Samaritan, 425 N. Cedar Bluff Rd., Knoxville, TN 37923 (865) 693-9591 at 4 pm Monday, afterwards a reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
