Margaret Glover Vogt St. Onge went to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 31, 2016. She was born May 24, 1925 in Hollow Rock, (Henry County) Tennessee to Henry and Sudie Glover. As a young woman she moved to Kansas where she met and married Kenneth Vogt, the father of her three children. From Kansas they moved to Kenneth’s home state of Wyoming where two of their children were born. However, Tennessee and warmer weather beckoned and South Knoxville was home for the rest of her life. Margaret attended cosmetology school and worked in that profession until the birth of her third child when she became a fulltime homemaker. She was a faithful member of Island Home Baptist Church for over sixty years enjoying the Lee Sanders Sunday School class for many of those years. She is predeceased by her parents; husbands, Kenneth Vogt and Albert St. Onge; sister, Marylee Maybrey of Nashville; and brothers Charles Glover of Paris, Tennessee; and her only daughter, Penny McCord. She is survived by her children, Richard Vogt and Chris Vogt and wife, Sherry; grandchildren: Todd Mills, Kristi Vogt, Raven Vogt, Chase Vogt, Christopher Harris, and Mike Roe; great-grandchildren: Elliott, Mattie, Tori, Mayleia, and Austin. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon, Susan Mills of the Korean Church of Knoxville officiating.
