Margaret Nancy Frazier Loveday left this earth on December 30, 2022, after 93 wonderful years. Margaret was born on October 9, 1929, to Laura Story and Charles Monroe Frazier in Danville, Virginia. The Frazier family made Knoxville, Tennessee their forever home in the 1930’s. On August 15, 1947, Margaret married the love of her life, Dewey Raymond Loveday. Throughout their fruitful 61-year marriage they were blessed with five beautiful children, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren whom they all adored. Before Dewey’s death in 2008, when they weren’t crisscrossing the country, they enjoyed escaping to Cades Cove in their camper. Meme, as she became affectionately known, took great pride in her yard, which in the Spring rivaled Augusta National and the White House Rose Garden. She loved to take plants on their last legs and breathe them back to life, making her porch a resplendent burst of color throughout the summer. In addition to her amazingly green thumb, Margaret cooked and cooked and cooked. Her biscuits, famous apple pies, Applesauce and German Chocolate cakes were some of her many specialties. She cooked holiday dinners for twenty plus up until her last Easter in 2022 and delighted her family with favorite treats on their birthdays. Margaret was a long-time member of West Haven Baptist Church and even when was unable to attend services never wavered in her faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Raymond, and all her siblings: Winfred Frazier (Doris), Dorothy Tallent (William), Charles Frazier, Joe Frazier (Christine) and Mary Carter; Brother and Sister-in-law John Loveday and Betty Ward. She is survived and will be sorely missed by her children: Sandra McCracken (Robert), Ronald Loveday, Dewey Gerald Loveday Sr., (Vickie), Robert Loveday (Christine) and Charles Loveday; sisters in law: Betty Frazier and Mary Anne Loveday; special family Joni Loveday and Jo Anne Danielson; grandchildren: Cassie Gokey (Michael) son Ellis, Patrick McCracken (Tiffany) daughter Addyson, Lynn Self (Brian), David Loveday (Lyndsey), Dewey Gerald Loveday Jr. (Miranda) son Eli and daughter Katryna, Annie Almodovar (John), sons John and Dewey and daughter Chloe, John Loveday, daughter Alyssa and son Thomas, Ashley Loveday, Alyssa Loveday, Jordan Miller (Travis) sons Zane and Brantley.
